Hi, im having a weird problem. When i play gw quite often my computer crashes and goes into bluescreen. However this does not happen when im playing f.ex cod modern warfare 2. Any ideas what might be wrong? Tried reinstall of gw.
Hi, what Operating System and Graphics Card are you using? (try checking your graphics card manufacturers website for driver updates and install any if found). Secondly, can you post the error messages you are getting from the BSOD (see here for info - basically where the arrows are pointing are the error messages, if you could post your bsods' version of those along with the "Technical Information" section it would be a great help).
Got a picture if needed, but its huge so i dont want to upload if not needed : )
Well I did install daemon tools, but deleted it when i started getting bluescreens.
I have already reinstalled GW with the -image command. Will try updating graphics drivers.
Edit: itsn't it quite weird that this only happens in GW tho?
Edit2: Okey, WhoCrashed just analyzed my 8 crash dumps and reports that 7 out of 8 was likely crashed by ntoskrnl.exe. Thats gotta be a clue?

I took a look at your log file, the corrupted file is in C:\Windows\SysWOW64\" this contains all of the files needed to run 32 bit applications:

I'm guessing iassdo.dll.mui is what's causing your problem and as the backed up version is also corrupt it cannot be repaired, if you still have your installation CD try re-running SFC via that and it should restore the file from the CD instead.

Wow thanks a ton! Hopefully last question, how do i run SFC via the CD?
Edit: nvm, think i may have found out CMD and the same command just this time in the recovery mode you load from cd right? Wow im horrible at explaining
Edit2: Hmm, when I try the above it tells me "There is a system repair pending which requires reboot to complete. Restart Windows and run sfc again.".
Should I let windows boot completely and then run SFC with the CD inside my drive?

Boot to your installation CD and when you get to the install menu you'll get several options, choose "Repair Your Computer" (or something similar), Choose your OS, and then choose "Use Recovery Tools..." from the dialogue box which appears, you'll then be greeted with a list of options just choose Command Prompt from the list. I'm assuming you should be able to use SFC from the CD, if you can't then the only other option is to re-format.

See edits on above post Tbh I might just backup GW, MW2 and a couple of other stuff and just format the entire drive.. As long as it isnt hardware failure im happy : D
Ah must've been writing my message as you edited yours
It doesn't appear to be a hardware failure (generally "STOP - Page Fault in Non Paged Area" tends to be a driver issue), but you could still check by running MemTest86+, scan disk etc to be on the safe side. As it appears to be a system file which is corrupt, repairing without reinstalling can be tricky so a reinstall probably wouldn't be a bad idea. You could also try doing a System Restore to a few days before this issue began if it's fairly new, however SR sometimes doesn't really do much if anything (or at least that's my experience of it).

Yep, I'll definitely run memtest.
Thanks alot for your help! You have been VERY helpful
This happens to me when I try to go and buy things at the trading post either my screen freezes up on me or my computer crashes. Thought I was the only one since this is the first time I have seen anyone else have the same problem.

guildwars has no trading post--perhaps you are thinking gw2...that is a different game and has its own forums. Please post on them if that is the case.
